Things seem to be looking up for XXXTentacion.
Last week the rapper was arrested and hit with 7 felony charges connected to alleged witness tampering. On Monday he was hit with an additional 8 giving him a total of 15 felony charges.
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources revealed XXXTentacion would be released on Wednesday under Florida’s court discretion. However, he’ll be under “very restrictive house arrest conditions,” for the next two months.
At the moment his house arrest regulations are unclear.
Earlier this week, the additional felony charges were added because prosecutors believe the rapper tried to intimidate his ex-girlfriend into not testifying against him. They collected evidence from previously recorded phone calls.
He was arrested back in 2016 for domestic violence as he was accused of beating his ex-girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time.
