In our working women roundup, we spotted Lupita Nyong’o, Gabrielle Union and Tamar Braxton working on various projects. More inside….

We saw Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’o, sporting a red suede coat, arriving at her Off-Broadway production ‘Eclipsed.’

Earlier in the summer, we gave you the scoop on “Eclipsed,” which was written in 2009 by actress Danai Gurira, who stars on “The Walking Dead” as the sword-wielding Michonne.

The play tells a story of survival and resilience in Africa set against the backdrop of the Liberian Civil War. Under the direction of Obie Award winning director Lisel Tommy and producer Marvet Britto, the audience will witness what happens when a group of women, who are the captive wives of a rebel officer, find their lives disrupted by the appearance of a new and mysterious woman, played by Lupita.

The play runs until November 8th at Off Broadway’s Public Theater.

Also in New York City…..

We saw Gabrielle Union leaving a taping of the “Today” show where she appeared to talk about the latest season of “Being Mary Jane,” which returns to BET on October 20th. During her chat with Hoda Kotb, Gabby also opened up about her marriage to Dwayne Wade, which she described as “hot and delicious.”

Then Gabby talked about co-parenting with Dwyane and her own desire to have kids, while dealing with fertility issues. She told Hoda, “If you happen to have issues with fertility and you happen to have a career, all is not lost. There’s so much hope and so many options.”

Afterwards, Gabrielle changed outfits and headed over to Sirius Radio. We’re feeling her coat!

In the LA area…..

We spotted Tamar Braxton prepping for this week’s episode of “DWTS.” In addition to heading to the dance studio to work with her partner, Tamar also hit the tanning salon. In case you didn’t know, Tamar lives with the skin disorder Vitiligo and uses the tan booth to even out her tone.

And there’s good news for Tamar on the music front. Her album, Calling All Lovers, made a very respectable debut at #5 on Billboard, moving 43,000 units.
