A 32-year-old woman was rescued from the Chicago River near Michigan Avenue early Monday, according to fire officials.
About 2:35 a.m. Monday, a 32-year-old woman jumped into the Chicago River near Michigan Avenue, according to the Chicago Fire Department. She was by herself when she jumped into the water.
Rescuers used a buoy to get the woman out of the river. She was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where her condition was stabilized.
