Chocolate City star Vivica Fox joined co-star Robert Ri’chard to promote their film on “WWHL” where she dished on 50 Cent and Kenya Moore. Watch the clips inside and see “OITNB” stars Laverne Cox, Danielle Brooks & Uzo Aduba at a Netflix Q-N-A in Los Angeles.
Last night, Vivica A. Fox (wearing a Versace dress and Rene Caovilla shoes) appeared on “WWHL” where she touted her upcoming stripper-flick Chocolate City. The cast celebrated the NYC premiere of the film earlier this week at the AMC Empire 25 theater and we’re excited about seeing Auntie Viv on the big screen again.
Viv’s co-star Robert Ri’chard served as the bartender for the evening….
Eventually…..Andy Cohen got him to take his shirt off. Thank you Andy!
The film will have a limited theatrical release in the U.S. on Friday, May 22, 2015, followed by its arrival on home entertainment platforms, including Digital, On Demand and DVD.
Back to the show….
Vivica, who is also boked for the Independence Day sequel starring Will Smith, opened up to Andy about several hot button issues, including 50 Cent and Kenya Moore. You’ll recall that Vivica had a steamy affair with the rapper and has called him the love of her lie. When a caller asked if there was hope for a reconnection, Viv SHUT IT DOWN quickly. Not going to happen!
While discussing Kenya Moore, aka #ToxicTrick and her most recent antics (involving a faked relationship) Vivica said that Kenya was very beautiful and should stop with the stunts.
On 50 Cent…..
On Kenya Moore…
In Los Angeles…
The cast of Netflix’s hit series “Orange Is The New Black” attended Screening And Q&A session with the Directors Guild Of America yesterday.
In case you’ve been watching, Uzo Aduba has emerged as a fashionista. We love her red carpet looks. Uzo has already scored an Emmy and a Golden Globe nod as fan favorite Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren. Recently, she talked about the character to “EW” and revealed what she represents to her:
You are enough.” Suzanne, what she’s taught me, is there’s little that can be found in conformity. She is boldly herself all the time, whether it’s from her hair, whether it’s from her weird and sometimes offbeat expressions, her ideology. She’s not always right, and she’s okay with not always being right. But she is a woman of conviction. And she is someone who loves deeply. Oftentimes to her own detriment. There is a seed somewhere in her that is determined to stay true to who she is. She knows people call her Crazy Eyes; she’s not oblivious to it. Still, she’s not willing to adjust and conform so that people might stop calling her that. She’s still really intent on staying true to herself. To borrow, not to sound so hokey and schmoky, but to borrow from Hamlet, “To thine own self be true.” And she has remained that.
Laverne Cox had a great year as well. While her co-star Uzo took home an Emmy, Laverne landed a coveted TIME Magazine cover. How many people can say that?
Danielle Brooks looked amazing in her summer white. During a recent talk with PEOPLE, she opened up about her curves and being a role model.
“Being a woman of curves, I really find that it’s very important to talk about loving your body where you are. People’s beauty standards [is] something I’ve definitely struggled with in my life. And I’m just so grateful to be on a show where people love me, Taystee, for who she is – and they’ve come to love Danielle for who I am, and it’s not because I’m a size 2 and it’s not because I’m light-skinned with long hair.”
OITNB returns for its third season June 12th.
