The fans are raging and pretty pisst that one of the lead characters has been killed off “Family Guy.” They are so enraged that they’ve created petitions and have been calling the studio. Brian Griffin, the mainstay talking dog featured on Seth McFarlane’s animated show Family Guy, was run over by a car and killed in Sunday night’s episode. He was 8 in human years, and 55 in dog years.

The tragedy occurred as Brian was preparing to play street hockey with Stewie, the Griffins’ talking baby Brian’s longtime partner in crime. Thankfully, Stewie was uninjured.

But, wait: Brian the talking dog isn’t dead! He’s just gone to a farm upstate where he can have long, meaningful discussions and drink martinis with other dogs. Right? See Fox’s tribute video to Brian below.
