Lionsgate announced that production on the comedy “Tyler Perry’s Single Mom’s Club” began Monday, (Nov. 26) at the filmmaker’s studio in Atlanta.
Single Moms Club will follow a group of single mothers from different walks of life bond who, brought together by an incident at their children’s school, decide to create a support group.
Beside previously announced Nia Long, the movie will also star Wendi McLendon-Covey, Amy Smart, Zulay Henao, Cocoa Brown, Ryan Eggold, William Levy, Terry Crews and Eddie Cibrian. Writer & director Perry is also on board!
Perry is producing Single Moms Club via Tyler Perry Studios banner, and the movie is already set to open on May 9th, 2014.
