Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson went behind-the-scenes for their “GMA” appearance. Meanwhile, Stephan James, Naturi Naughton and more hit up the RACE NYC premiere last night. More inside…
Our fave TV couple hilariously took over daytime television yesterday.
“black•ish” star Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson went behind the cameras and inside the control room to run their “Good Morning America” episode.
It was a “black•ish” takeover as the on-screen couple were calling all of the shots, cutting to commercials, and directing the cameramen to the perfect shot. Tracee dressed the uber fab director part rocking a blush Jill Stuart top and skirt paired with a pink pair of Christian Louboutins.
Does she ever get it wrong? Nope! Her look was very intentional though. She said:
Channeling #FayeDunaway in #Network in the control room at @GoodMorningAmerica
She was styling after a wardrobe change leaving the “GMA” studio. We want that coat! It’s called the Edith coat by Designers Remix, by the way.
Peep their interview and catch them in producer mode below:
“black•ish” airs every Wednesday at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
Elsewhere in the city…
Before RACE hits theaters tomorrow, the inspirational film was screened at the Landmark’s Sunshine Cinema in NYC last night. Lead star Stephan James, who portrays legendary Olympian Jesse Owens in the film, was front-and-center for the preview looking dapper in an oxblood tailored suit.
“Power” star Naturi Naughton doesn’t star in the film, but she came out to support Stephan and the cast. On Instagram, she revealed the “Power” cast is filming the finale episode today! Woot! We can’t wait for the crime drama to return in June.
Stephan’s RACE castmates Shamier Anderson and Jason Sudeikis, along with Focus Features CEO Peter Schlessel stopped for a group photo-op.
Umm…Shamier is looking quite yummy. Hey boo….
Actress Chantel Riley, who also stars in the film, looked fab in a black Cielo Brands jumpsuit. Chantel also stars as Nahla in the Broadway musical “The Lion King.”
As Stephan made his way down the carpet, he stopped to pose it up with co-star Jason Sudeikis’ fiancée Olivia Wilde.
Model Tyson Beckford took a break from the NYFW scene to hit up the premiere.
Olympic track and field World Champion Sanya Richards-Ross came out to see the biopic on an idol of hers who paved the way for her to compete in the Olympics.
