A 53-year-old man from Texas man is accused of sexually assaulting a child under six who was also allegedly assaulted on the same day by his roommate.  

Robert Valderas, from Boerne near San Antonio, was jailed on June 16 on a charge of super aggravated sexual assault of a child and is currently in Bexar County Jail on a $500,000 bond.

Valderas is accused of sexually assaulting the same child who was also allegedly assaulted by 49-year-old Gerald Mohrmann. Both alleged assaults took place at the same address, on the exact same day.

Mohrmann is also accused of sexually assaulting two other children, who have been described as being under the age of 17.

He was indicted on five counts of super aggravated sexual assault of a child and remains in the Bexar County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

It’s not clear from court records how the two men came to into contact with their alleged victims.

Super aggravated sexual assault of a child is a relatively new crime in Texas.

The term ‘super’ designation occurs when the victim is under the age of six or when there has been violent aggravated sexual abuse of a child under 14-years-old.
