Back in October Terry Crews publicly came forth and revealed that a Hollywood agent had sexually assaulted him last year at an industry event.
At the time Crews did not name the agent, but he was later identified as William Morris Endeavor (WME) agent Adam Venit.
Last month Crews filed a complaint, and now he is suing Adam Venit, as well as the talent agency.
According to USA Today, Crews is suing for assault, battery and sexual harassment, along with other charges.
The lawsuit states that Crews and Venit had never met prior to the industry event last year. However when they did meet, “Venit stared at Crews intently, like a rabid dog, sticking his tongue in and out of his mouth provocatively.”
Things allegedly became physical as Venit “viciously grabbed Crews’ penis and testicles so hard that it caused Crews immediate pain.”
Venit reportedly apologized the following day, and said he “he was not himself.”
Venit was suspended from WME after Crews spoke on the allegations, but he returned to the company a month later in a demoted role.
Crews said he told his agent at WME the following day, but the company took little action. Crews later left the company in mid-November.
He claims that he suffered from both physical and psychological issues, he is now asking for punitive and exemplary damages.
