Straight Outta Compton headed straight to the top of the box office, easily smashing the weekend competition. Find out how well the film performed inside…

Universal’s N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton topped the weekend box office, earning an estimated $60.5 million in its debut weekend, according to Deadline.

The F. Gary Gray film, which was produced with $29 million budget, easily made the studio’s money back and then some.

Sadly, the same can’t be said for the Guy Richie film The Man From U.N.C.L.E which opened in 1,000 MORE theaters than “SOC,” but only managed to make $13.5 million….and their budget was $80 million! Womp Womp.
