Police say Boucher, who is white, became angry after someone accidentally spilled a beverage on him in the Starbucks around 2:30pm.

He yells at an unidentified man: ‘Shut up, slave!’ as a crowd gathers round.

The incident spills out onto the street outside the store where Boucher yells at an unidentified black man: ‘Your children are vermin’.

‘Shut up, slave. Do not talk to me,’ he says to a second unidentified black man who approached him, the video shows, before proceeding to spit on them.

Punches are almost exchanged until a bystander breaks up the altercation and Boucher shouts at the two: ‘Get on all fours right now! Get on all fours! Don’t walk away on two legs!’

As he walks away, he proceeds to return to punch a 59-year-old man, who appears to be homeless, in an unprovoked attack.

Witnesses then tackl Boucher to the ground and hold him down until police arrive to arrest him.
