The 2012 Soul Train Music Awards is scheduled to premier Sunday, Nov. 25 on BET and Centric. The host of the show is Cedric The Entertainer. The awards show was previously recorded on Thursday, Nov. 8 in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood.

You can expect to see performances by singer Keyshia Cole. The 2012 Soul Train Music Awards show also include performances by “X Factor” star Marcus Canty, Fantasia, Ne-Yo, Raphael Saadiq, Anthony Hamilton, Eddie Levert, Elle Varner, Miguel, Leah Labelle, 2 Chains featuring Charlie Wilson, and more.

The 2012 Soul Train Music Awards will also feature a tribute to the late great Don Cornelius. He was the producer and creator of Soul Train and he also hosted the television show from 1971 to 1993, which of course originated here in CHICAGO.
