Rihanna will reportedly join musicians such as Timbaland and Kings of Leon to judge an upcoming International Songwriters Competition. Here’s the scoop:
The International Songwriting Competition concludes with 66 winners and one Grand Prize winner, who share more than $150,000 in cash and prizes, with the Grand Prize scoring $25,000 in cash and $20,000 in prizes. Three of the past five Grand Prize winners have signed to major labels with Universal and Epic, while other winners have acquired smaller label and publishing deals.
The 22-year-old who has songwriting credits on her debut and sophomore albums ‘Music of The Sun’ and ‘A Girl Like Me’ as well as ‘Rated R’, has proven herself more than worthy to align herself with such a role.
