White nationalist #RichardSpencer led dozens of his followers in a rally at the #UniversityOfVirginia yesterday complete with tiki torches.

They stood around a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee in Emancipation Park. It’s scheduled to be removed during this wave of other confederate statues being taken down which is what also prompted the first rallies back in August.

Spencer and his fellow white supremacist followers’s blatant actions are causing local politicians are calling out Spencer and his legion of loyal racists. Charlottesville Mayor Mike Signer, called the rally a “despicable visit by neo-Nazi cowards” and told them, “You’re not welcome here! Go home!”

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe even tweeted, “We are monitoring this situation as we continue to oppose these racists and their message of hate.”

According to reports, the rally only lasted for about ten minutes before Spencer & Co. packed up and left for another location. Police even escorted them out of the city to make sure that they actually left.
