Public Enemy gets stranded before a show, but one fan and his Ford Focus came to the rescue. Get the deets on the mishap and take a peek inside Pharrell Williams’ $10.9M Miami mansion he just put on the market inside….
Public Enemy can thank their lucky stars after one fan and his Ford Focus came to the rescue once realizing they were stranded right before a show.
Over the weekend, the pioneering rap group was hosting a CD signing before they were set to hit the stage at the Sheffield Arena in England. The thing is, once they wrapped up the signing they realized their taxi had left them there! Not only that, they were 45 minutes away before show time. No worries though.
51-year-old professional photographer Kevin Wells just so happened to be the last fan in line to cop an autograph when he heard what happened. Being the die-hard fan that he is, he offered to drive the rap group to the arena before trekking to his own photography gigs.

Once they all piled up inside, Kevin HAD to get an “us-ie.” Who wouldn’t?! No one would have probably believed him had he not. He told the Guardian about the once in a lifetime experience saying,
“It was very, very surreal. We all walked to the car – Flavor Flav, Chuck D and two of their entourage – and they all just piled in. I’m local to Sheffield so I know all the back streets to get there pretty sharpish so I didn’t feel too tense. I knew I could get them there in time.”
Ha! Once there, the group asked him to come inside to enjoy the show, but unfortunately he had to decline to fulfill his photography duties at another show. Hmph. Can’t say we would have done the same, but at least he nabbed an epic “us-ie” and one incredible memory.
In other news…
Superproducer and “The Voice” judge Pharrell Williams is saying bye-bye to his uber fab Miami penthouse. In case you’re trying to live like P, the Grammy Award winner has listed his Miami condo for a cool $10.9 million after purchasing it for $12.5 million in 2007.
It appears P is downsizing his real estate after the purchase of his stylish L.A. mansion earlier this year.
The Miami pad features 9.000 square feet of gorgeousness with five bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms and a three-story living room. A few of the highlights of the extravagant condo: the winding staircase, the 360 view of the Miami skyline, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Check out a few flicks of his pad below:
Bomb! Let’s see if he can get it off his hands for the price he’s asking.
