The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will continue its 66-year tradition of inaugurating the city’s social holiday season with its annual Christmas Luncheon and Fashion Show.

The theme for this year’s event is “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” and it will feature a fine meal and a fashion show featuring the latest styles from Donna’s Fashions, modeled by local celebrities and media personalities.

There will also be the chance to win an array of prizes, including a silent auction; the popular “Cupcakes for Christmas Cash drawing; a new Ornament Pull, where participants will be entered to win an airlift gift card; and a 14-carat Pave Diamond Dragonfly necklace, valued at $3,000, which Moody’s Jewelers has donated as a door prize.

Jackie Poe will serve as this year’s honorary chair. Poe, along with her late husband, Bob, has served the community through her participation with a variety of organizations, including the Road and Highway Commission for the city of Broken Arrow, Gilcrease Museum, the Tulsa Philharmonic and the Committee for 100 for the state of Oklahoma.
