Several high end fashion brands have begun investigate the use of EyeSee mannequins which will cost retailers $5,000 each, but aim to help spot potential shoplifters and personalize your shopping experience after recording your age, gender and race.
Unlike ceiling cameras, it’s at eye level and provides a better picture of who’s in the shop.
Meanwhile, it’s trying to improve the dummies by adding microphones to them so they can recognize customers’ comments about merchandise on display.
