Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige releases a new track called ‘Everyday People 2012’. Produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox.

Her version sounds like a cross between the ’60s classic and the 1990s remake, but has all-new lyrics that exemplify the positive messages of self-motivation and personal empowerment that Mary’s been known for in recent years.

Here’s a sample of some lyrics:

“People change like the weather man, put your trust in only you baby, You can’t lose when you’re doin’ you, so keep movin’ and doin’ the damn thing, ‘Cause the only way to win is to push through like the wind, put your aim up in the sky and tell ’em haters fall back, fall back, way back.”
