Ready for the return of Tip? For the newbie….Tip is the one you DO NOT wanna mess with. While T.I. is the family man with a show on VH1, Tip might run up in your trap house. Get ready for your Tip fix……

He has released an EP of trap tracks called Da’ Nic and dropped a video for one of the five cuts, “Check, Run It.” The video for the League of Starz-produced track was jointly directed by Phillyflyboy and T.I. himself. Check it above.

In other music news…

Rapper J. Cole is the envy of the music industry. In addition to being tapped to lead Janet Jackson’s comeback single “No Sleeep”, J. Cole joins a RARE group of artists who can still manage to go platinum in 2015. That right….success ain’t just for Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

J. Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive originally dropped in n December of 2014 after debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming his third consecutive No. 1 disc. But it’s his first to go platinum: Born Sinner (released in 2013) has sold 747,000, Cole World: The Sideline Story (released in 2011) has sold 772,000.

Congrats J. Cole!
