Two brothers who weigh nearly 1,350lbs combined have embarked on a 38-hour RV trip to Houston, Texas, to meet with a weight loss surgeon after years of manipulating their father into getting them the junk food that they crave.
Steven, 33, weighs 749lbs, while his brother Justin, 27, tips the scales at almost 600lbs. Although the siblings both share an addition to food, they can’t stand each other. However, they both know how to get what they want from their hapless dad, who is desperate to help them get their weight under control.
Despite his good intentions, their father continuously gives into their demands, and a preview clip for Wednesday night’s episode of the TLC reality series My 600lb Life sees him stopping to grab Steven food even though he initially refused to.

Out of control siblings: Steven, 33, weighs 749lbs, and his younger brother Justin is also morbidly obese
Addiction: Justin, 27, tips the scales at nearly 600lbs, and like his older brother, he turns to food for comfort
At the start of the video, their father is griping that they still have 1,156 miles of driving to do when he receives a call from Steven, who is lying in bed in the back of the RV.
‘Excuse me, I want to get something to eat,’ he tells his father, who warns him to stop calling and wasting his cell phone minutes.
Justin, who is sitting in the back seat of the truck, says he can’t believe his brother is asking for food again because they just ate two hours ago.
‘I don’t feel entitled, but I want what I want, and when I don’t get it, I get p****d off,’ Steven tells the camera. ‘And I start ranting and raving until I do get what I want. I just want what I want that’s it.’
Struggle: Steven and Justin’s father always caves to their demands, but he is so desperate to get them help, he drives them across the country in an RV to meet with a weight loss surgeon
Steven and Justin grew up in a troubled household with an alcoholic mother and a father who had a violent temper.
In order to deal with their tumultuous home life, they started turning to food for comfort from a young age. However, they ended up developing different strategies for getting what they wanted.
Justin would shut down and refuse to cooperate until his dad would give in to his demands, and he has grown to be lonely and untrusting.
Seriously? Steven, who is lying in the back of the RV, calls his father multiple times to warn him that he is hungry and needs food
Giving in: Although he initially refused Steven’s demands, he ends up stopping the RV
All smiles: Steven’s dad calls him a ‘big baby’ when he gives him the food he had picked up
Meanwhile, Steven would scream and lash out until his desires were met, and he is still unable to control his himself or his impulses.
During the preview clip, Steven calls his father a second time to threaten him.
‘I’m feeling very weak, and if something happens to me you’re going to be very sorry,’ he warns.
Once again, his dad ends up caving to his demands and stopping to get the food that he claims he desperately needs.
Nemesis: Justin says he is not surprised that his father ended up getting Steven a large meal because he always ends up giving in to him
‘It’s ridiculous’: Their father admits that he has to stop the RV every two hours because one of them wants food
‘Here I got you what you wanted you big baby,’ he dad says. ‘That’s it until tomorrow morning buddy.’
Justin says he is not surprised that his father ended up getting Steven a large meal because he always ends up giving in to him.
However, their father tells the camera that he is getting fed up with all of the food stops he has to make.
‘We have been traveling about 38 hours right now and then every 100 miles we had to stop cause who wanted to eat,’ he says. ‘You know, I understand that, but not every 100 miles. It’s ridiculous; 100 miles only takes two hours to do.’
