Former Chicago Bears tight end Martellus Bennett was a fan favorite while he was roaming Soldier Field, and although he will do so again this season while wearing Green Bay Packers colors, he still has a good heart.
Last week, a dad looking to take his kids on a trip to Lambeau Field was thwarted by inclement weather, and he reached out to the Packers to try to see if there was any way that he could help his family have a memorable experience when they finally made it to Wisconsin:

After seeing the letter, Bennett took it upon himself to make sure that the family was able to get the royal treatment when they made it to Packers camp:
I’ll hook you up on Monday. I’m not sure if practice will still be open but if it is I gotcha. If not we can grab a bite together. https://t.co/CqhuxUdaFX

When the family arrived, Bennett allowed the kids to take part in one of the most famous traditions in all of football: riding a bike along with the players to the Packers’ practice facility:

Bennett will make his Packers debut on Thursday night when the team welcomes the Philadelphia Eagles to Lambeau Field. He will return to Soldier Field on Nov. 12 as the teams do battle on the lakefront.
