Mariah Carey is heading to Las Vegas for residency at Ceasars Palace Casino Resort
Mariah Carey, will soon make Las Vegas her new kingdom.
On January 8, 2014, The HoneySpot confirmed that the international superstar has inked a performance residency deal with luxury destination Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas.
Mariah Carey is the greatest vocalist of all time with more number one hits than any other female artist in history, including “Vision of Love” “Honey” “We Belong Together” and many, many more spanning a stellar career that has covered the past several decades.
Las Vegas has been the home to other megastars including Celine Dion, Elton John, Britney Spears, Boyz II Men, Toni Braxton, Gladys Knight, Donne & Marie Osmond, and most recently Jennifer Lopez.
Residencies in Las Vegas seem to be a certainly powerful career move with sources reporting Britney Spears’ earnings at being over $30 million. Considering Carey’s success, a residency deal signed by the vocal powerhouse would probably be a record-breaking one for any other headlining Las Vegas show.
This is a favorable move for Carey, considering the recent headlines which include talks of her divorce with comedian Nick Cannon, a string of questionable performances, and less than usual album sales with latest studio release Me. I am Mariah. The Elusive Chanteuse.
