Kevin Hart and Toya Wright have new magazine covers! Kevin is showing off all of his hard work in the gym on Men’s Health magazine, while Toya reveals the reason why she recently went grey on House of Chapple magazine. Peep their covers inside….
Comedian Kevin Hart is known to bring the laughs. But, if you follow him on Instagram, you’ll notice he has been sweating it out in the gym…a lot recently. And now we know why.
The Wedding Ringer actor has been pumping iron and burning calories to accomplish a personal goal of his….to land on the cover of Men’s Health magazine. Mission accomplished! Kevin is gracing the cover of Men’s Health magazine’s March 2015 issue flossing his new ripped bod. And he’s super excited about it. He said on Instagram,
“Wow….I am blown away by this cover @menshealthmag ….This is why I was going so hard in the gym people. I set a goal for myself & busted my ass to accomplish that goal. I told myself that I wanted to work hard enough to get the cover of “Men’s Health” and I got it. Hard work truly does pay off people!!!! Make sure you grab a copy….it hits news stands TODAY!!!! #HustleHart #Motivation #Focused #MensHealth”
In the cover story, Kevin drops a few insightful quotes about elevating his life and always doing things for a meaningful purpose. Below are the highlights:
On his comedy:
“It’s about understanding your brain, you know?” he says of comedy. “Everything you do should be about elevating your brain. It’s not about doing things just to do them. Everything should have a purpose. I always want to show that I’m going up, not down. I’m not progressing to go backward; I’m always going forward.”
On his career philosophy:
“If you stop, or even if you slow down, you’re going to look up and realize that somebody has passed you,” Hart says of his career philosophy, which presumably also applies to his life in general.
“And that’s my fear,” he continues. “It’s the fear of being passed or caught up to, you know? When you get hot, you can choose to stay hot or you can say, ‘I’m going to take some time off now and relax.’ I don’t see the benefit of that. That’s how you get left behind.”
If you loved Kevin in The Wedding Ringer, the pint-sized comedian has a new comedy in the works. He’s starring alongside Will Ferrell in a new film titled Get Hard, which is expected to hit theaters March 27th.
He will star as Darnell Lewis, a man hired by millionaire James King (Will Ferrell) to wash his cars. Kevin’s character ultimately helps Will’s character prepare for a prison bid after he was convicted of fraud. Sounds like a mess.

On another magazine front….
Reality star Toya Wright is keeping busy, despite issues in her marriage with her husband MempHitz arising.
The Garb boutique owner graces the cover of HOC magazine’s newest issue, flossing her new grey tresses, which she teased fans with via a BTS look last week. ATL fashion designer Reco Chapple had a vision of Toya rocking the pages of his magazine with grey hair, and once he shared his idea with Toya, she replied, “I’ll try anything once!”
Initially, Toya was slated to do the cover with her husband MempHitz, but with everything they have going on in their life, she almost backed out of it completely. When Reco asked her what was going on, she replied, “My husband is going through something bigger than me, so just pray for me and my family”.
She eventually decided to do it and seemed to be in good spirits while posing it up on the set. We will get a behind-the-scenes look of the shoot when it airs on Reco’s upcoming reality show “The House That Reco Built”.
According to HOC, Toya has a new book coming this fall, which will cover business tips, relationships tips and she’s supposedly going to give the break down of her separation from her husband. Guess we will have to wait and see if it’s really a tell-all once it’s released. But in the meantime, peep Toya serving model fab below:
Cute shots. Are we feelin’ the new grey trend?
Red carpet and magazine cover slayer Lupita Nyong’o is the February 2015 cover star of Marie Claire Indonesia magazine. The mag used a photo from a previous photoshoot, but she’s still gorgeous and flawless as always.
