CHICAGO — A man shot a woman to death in Logan Square before fleeing and taking his own life Sunday, police said.
At 12:25 p.m., the man, 23, was arguing with a 22-year-old woman in the 2500 block of West Lyndale Street in Logan Square when he fired shots at her, police said. The woman was hit in her head and back.
The woman was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead, police said.
At 7:34 p.m., the man was found dead in the 4300 block of West Carroll Avenue in Garfield Park, police said. He had shot himself in his head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man and woman’s argument was “domestic-related,” a police source said.
