By now we all know that Kodak Black has been having a pretty crazy week after getting arrested on Wednesday for weapons and drugs charges at the U.S. border. Now the word is he’s claiming that his vehicle’s GPS played a role in his arrest.

According to TMZ, Kodak was reportedly set to drive himself from Detroit to Boston for his show. He put his destination into the GPS, and reportedly the most direct route was through Canada, to New York and then to Massachusetts.

However, he didn’t realize that he left the U.S. until he was asked to present his passport at a certain point. As it was previously reported, he was arrested when he tried to get back into the U.S. at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge into New York’s Niagara County.

Marijuana and weapons were found on him and some of his team members and they were taken to the slammer. Later, he posted a $20,000 bond and was released.

Kodak’s whereabouts initially became unknown at one point when he didn’t show up for his show in Boston, forcing the show to be canceled. Shortly after his arrest was announced, it made it clear what was going on.
