From headwear to gym clothes, some Kings players are taking shots at fashion.
Third-year center Willie Cauley-Stein has designed and developed two new hats which were released for sale online Thursday.
“Fashion is part of who I am,” Cauley-Stein said in a release. “I love to design, create and innovate.
“It was great teaming up with New Era and the Kings to design these new lids for Kings fans everywhere, and I’m especially grateful to be able to give back to the community through my passion for fashion.”
This is the second time Cauley-Stein has designed hats for the Kings. A man of the arts, he is also behind a series of personalized watches.
Another King who’s being featured in fashion is De’Aaron Fox. The rookie point guard was featured Thursday in a GQ magazine article that gives tips on how to look good in the gym.
The piece gives four tips on how a person should dress for success when working out.
In it, Fox is seen modeling some of the brands he likes to wear. However, he doesn’t speak much on his workout attire. Instead, he discusses his hairstyle and what he’s done with his money since going pro with the Kings.
“I’ve actually done nothing with my first NBA check,” Fox told GQ. “I got my parents a house, but I did that with Nike endorsement money. I have my car. I have a place to stay. There’s nothing huge that I really need.”
