According to Lincoln County State’s Attorney Tom Wollman, Patterson’s family posted his $750,000 cash bond. There are no stipulations on his bond to remain in Lincoln or Minnehaha counties, Wollman said.
He was charged with second degree murder, first degree manslaughter, aggravated battery of an infant, and related charges.
