Jennifer Hudson is mad at record executives, who slimmed down her figure on the cover of her first album.  The ‘American Idol’ contestant thinks that it won’t send a “good message” to her fans.

The 30-year-old singer was mortified to see the final product when it finally hit stores as music bosses had digitally altered the cover art in a bid to make the singer look more visually appealing without her permission.

“It was like, ‘Where is the rest of me?’ They photoshopped me, probably to the size I am now, on that cover but we all know I was nowhere near that,” Jennifer told NBC’s Dateline.

Hudson, who has shed a whopping 36 kilograms in recent years, released her self-titled debut, record back in 2008, when she was sporting a much fuller physique.

“It did not represent me. Did I not just prove that talent is enough – if I made it this far being who I am, being the size I am, the image that I am?” she added.
