There is a lot going on for the Carter’s at the moment, with the birth of the Carter twins and the release of Jay-Z’s upcoming album. Nonetheless, sources revealed that Jay will reportedly be hitting the road this upcoming fall.
According to Page Six, after Jay-Z releases his 4:44 album on June 30th he’ll wait until the fall before he heads out on tour.
The source reportedly said, “There is a tour to follow. It was originally planned for summer but has been moved to fall because of the kids.” We all know Jay-Z and Beyoncé recently welcomed their twins sometime last week.
The source added, “You usually tour within a month or so of the album.” His 4:44 was mysteriously promoted around NYC with a just a simple 4:44 sign.
Shortly after a clip of Danny Glover and Mahershala Ali was released showing their involvement with the project’s visuals, along with actress Lupita N’yongo. Last week Tidal confirmed it was, in fact, a new album that will be exclusively released in conjunction with Sprint.
In the meantime, if fans want to see Jay-Z hit the stage, he will be one of the headliner’s for this year’s “Made In America,” festival, as well as “The Meadows,” and “Austin City Limits.”
Roommates, are you here for another Jay-Z tour?
