Jay-Z was spotted arriving into London’s Heathrow airport today. Fresh off his All-Star festivities in Dallas this weekend, he’s now in the UK to perform at the 2010 Brit Awards. And if you were wondering why Jay wasn’t a part of the “We Are The World 25″ remake, he’s got his reasons.
Jay said he felt that a new song should have been written instead of re-creating the 1985 classic:
‘We are the World’ is [musically] untouchable like ‘Thriller’ is untouchable. Some things are just untouchable. It was a valiant effort, but for me, it’s gonna be untouchable.”
