HBO has officially renewed Issa Rae’s Insecure for season-three.
Issa Rae co-created the Larry Willmore, debuting in November 2016. The premiere of season-two of Insecure would draw in a record-number 1.1 million viewers according to HBO. It even received a 100% rating from Rotten Tomatoes.
“We’re thrilled that the summer lineup of Ballers and Insecure connected with our viewers out of the gate,” said HBO programming executive vp Amy Gravitt. “We’re so proud to work with Dwayne, Issa and all of the amazing talent in both shows.”
Insecure is executive produced by Prentice Penny, Melina Matsoukas, Michael Rotenberg, Dave Becky and Jonathan Berry. Tune-in every Sunday at 9:30 pm EST on HBO.
