“Orange Is The New Black” stars Laverne Cox and Uzo Aduba serve two uber fab looks while making press rounds in NYC yesterday. Peep their pics and check out Laverne channeling her inner Beyonce inside….
While we’re use to seeing them in the prison uniforms as stars on the hit Netflix series “OITNB,” Laverne Cox and Uzo Aduba certainly know how to fabulously strut their stuff after getting glammed up.
After chit chatting with the ladies on “The Talk” earlier in the day, transgender activist Laverne Cox made her way to the DGA Theater for the season 3 finale screening of “OITNB” in NYC yesterday.
Chick popped up on the carpet in a nude Whistles overlay knit dress accented with a Calvin Klein belt and dripping in jewels from Victoria Deny Jewelry, A.V. Max, A Peace Treaty, and Anzie.
She finished her look with a barely there face beat, a deep wine lippie and long blonde ombre tresses.
Not to be outdone…
Uzo Aduba, who recently landed a role in the upcoming musical The Wiz Live!, was pleasantly pretty in a pink brocade printed frock, which she paired with blue suede pointed pumps for a pop of color.
Gorge. The YBF actress, who is also a classically trained singer, has been nominated for an EMMY award this year in the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama category for her role as “Crazy Eyes.”
Joining the ladies on the carpet were their co-stars Taylor Schilling, Selenis Leyva, Kate Mulgrew, casting director Jennifer Euston, and actress Laura Prepon. The ladies are riding high after the release of their third season as the show is in the running for the Outstanding Drama Series Emmy this year. Congrats! The cast is currently filming Season 4, which we can’t wait to see.
