Watch what you say on social media because it could cost you your job. One Cavaliers fan found out the hard way after firing off mean tweets about Steph Curry’s daughter Riley. And all the drama that ensued has us wondering if it’s the reason behind Steph appeared off his game last night. More inside…

You would think by now, folks would censor their commentary on social media being that once it’s out there, it’s out there for the world to see and there’s no turning back. Our family members, friends, co-workers, even our bosses are all “logged in” online to see everything we post on social media, so nowadays you just have to think twice before you start ranting and raving on a public platform.

Well, one Cleveland fan should have thought twice about his commentary before Game 3 of the NBA Finals yesterday. Steph’s sister Sydel Curry, an Elon University student in Elon, N.C, hopped on Twitter to express her excitement about traveling to Cleveland to watch her brother and the Warriors go head-to-head against LeBron James and the Cavaliers.

One Cavaliers fan named Moe Wahdan decided to issue a threat of sorts to Sydel and the Curry family all while disgustingly calling little 3-year-old Riley Curry out of her name. This human tweeted (and deleted):

Sydel brushed his comments off with a “blessed” tweet:

We’ll be gone Friday! Bless up

— Sydel Curry (@sydelcurry) June 8, 2016

Apparently, a Warriors fan page caught wind of the tweet and retweeted Sydel’s response:

More class from Cleveland Fans.

And this is when ish started going left. Several fans found out Moe’s employment and started tweeting the real estate company informing them of his mean tweets:

@warriorsworld Wonder if @HoltonWise knows their apprentice agent is using that word in a public forum?

— Cheryll Del Rosario (@cheryll) June 8, 2016

It didn’t take long for Moe’s employer The Holton-Wise Property Group to hop on Twitter and read their employee’s tweets. The real estate company said via Twitter they didn’t condone his comments and that he was terminated immediately!

@cheryll @warriorsworld Our apologies to all who were a party to this attack @HoltonWise does not condone this & we have terminated him

— HoltonWise (@HoltonWise) June 8, 2016

Moe appeared to be unbothered about the termination, but we all know how folks like to front on social media. He responded:

@haqabe413 bro over like 10 people dead i’m not mad I’ll be in another real estate office by tomorrow

— moe wahdan (@SoftCaramelKiss) June 8, 2016

During the game, Moe took the credit for the Warriors lost, claiming he was the one that got into Steph’s head:

Bro I threw off currys game all he’s thinking about right now is beating my ass

— moe wahdan (@SoftCaramelKiss) June 9, 2016

Cleveland can thank me later for throwing off currys game

— moe wahdan (@SoftCaramelKiss) June 9, 2016

Sydel then decided to address Moe directly, but it was ultimately a waste of her time. Peep their exchange below:

@SoftCaramelKiss let’s have a conversation real quick!

— Sydel Curry (@sydelcurry) June 9, 2016

Yo she replied to me I’m in love

— moe wahdan (@SoftCaramelKiss) June 9, 2016

— moe wahdan (@SoftCaramelKiss) June 9, 2016

— Sydel Curry (@sydelcurry) June 9, 2016

— moe wahdan (@SoftCaramelKiss) June 9, 2016

@sydelcurry or you can be strong and not let a random nigga on Twitter get under your skin

— moe wahdan (@SoftCaramelKiss) June 9, 2016

@SoftCaramelKiss you’re talking about my THREE YEAR OLD NIECE! I don’t take that

— Sydel Curry (@sydelcurry) June 9, 2016

So baby girl listen if you want I’ll show you a good ass time in the city while you still here if not fuck off ok?

— moe wahdan (@SoftCaramelKiss) June 9, 2016

So gross!

If you missed, the Cavaliers dominated the Warriors last night 120-90 making the series 2-1. It was a somewhat surprising blowout, even though the Cavs were at home, since the Warriors blew out the Cavs the first two games. According to the ratings, Game 3 of the NBA Finals was the third highest rated Game 3 ever on ABC.

Game 4 will tip off tomorrow (June 10th) at the Q Arena at 9pm EST on ABC.
