Indianapolis Colts linebacker Erik Walden has reportedly been injured by the mother of his kids! Not only did she cut him with a knife, but she also allegedly broke his new girlfriend’s arm with a bat. Lordt! Get the deets inside….
According to WSB-TV reporter Jovita Moore in Atlanta, Indianapolis Colts linebacker Erik Walden was reportedly injured by his ex-girlfriend and mother of his two children Erika Palmer with a knife today.
Allegedly, Erika (above in her mugshot) drove two hours from Tennessee to confront the NFLer and his new girlfriend at the Hampton Inn in Atlanta, Georgia where ish went totally left.
Before the attack, she supposedly purchased a knife and a baseball bat from Wal-Mart, which she ended up using on both of the victims. She allegedly pulled out the knife during a confrontation and cut him. Then, she assaulted his new girlfriend with the bat and broke her arm! She’s currently sitting behind bars. Erik decided not to press charges, but police charged her with 13 different crimes.
Yikes! And guess what? This isn’t the first time the two have been involved in a domestic violence situation.
Back in 2011, Erik was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct-domestic abuse following a fight with Erika, according to ESPN. A few months after he was charged, he received a deferred judgment and was ordered to complete 50 hours of community service as a part of the plea deal. The NFL suspended Erik (who played for the Green Bay Packers at the time) for the first two games of the 2012 season.
