Evelyn states “It’s still difficult even though it was a year ago, just having to watch it all over again. That was literally right after everything happened,” said Evelyn. “It was hard. I’m trying to move on with my life and now the show’s airing, so just having to deal with it all over again.

“I had physical scars. Obviously, I had to go to the hospital. I’m going to admit if there wasn’t, I probably would have went right back in that house and would have brushed it under the rug…I wouldn’t have wanted the world to know,” Evelyn told “Access Hollywood” about the head butt.

Though her marriage ended publicly and many questioned whether she provoked Chad, Evelyn seems to be looking at the positive side of it all.  “I consider it such a huge blessing. Even though it was a very traumatic time for me… It’s a huge blessing.  As Iyanla Vanzant told me: ‘I was a lesson to him, and he was a blessing to me.   Evelyn  states she has had no contact with Chad since January.  Let’s hope she has calmed down for this season of “Basketball Wives”.

  1. Most people stay when it’s private, the walk of shame in the public eye makes people do the right things sometimes. Rihanna would have stayed, too.

    • I thought Chad eventually confessed and told the truth…saying Evelyn was right, and that he had a history of violence.
