Rapper Dr. Dre has launched a $3 million lawsuit against executives at his former label Death Row Records over unpaid royalties.


In court papers filed in December in Los Angeles, the producer claimed he was owed $676,400 in unpaid mechanical royalties, $1.2 million in unpaid artist/producer royalties and $1.2 million in digital sales of his music.

Filed documents also state that Death Row has yet to honor a bonus that would jump his revenues from Death Row album sales from 18 percent to 20 percent. From the looks of it, Death Row is looking towards it’s own execution.
