Last week news broke that DMX has to serve one year in prison for tax evasion.
Now the amount he will owe the government following his release has been revealed.
According to TMZ, DMX will reportedly have to hand over $2.3 million in restitution. However, the judge will allow him to make the payments in monthly installments. Two months following his release he’ll have to start paying 10% of his gross monthly income.
The judge is also recommending that the rapper serve his time at the Danbury Federal Correctional Facility, which is the facility that inspired the hit Netflix show “Orange is the New Black.”
Following his release, DMX will also have to attend an outpatient substance abuse program and an outpatient mental health program.
