Denver Broncos 2018 Opponents Finalized
The Denver Broncos closed out the 2017 season in heartbreaking fashion. A field goal as time expired ended the Broncos season at 5-11.
Broncos Country, the nightmare of a season is finally over. The Denver Broncos 2017 season came to a close on Sunday afternoon. However, it was not without some drama at the very end. Paxton Lynch and the Broncos defense came back from a 24-10 deficit to tie the game.
However, rookie quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who was making his first career start, drove Kansas City down the field and the season ended on a heartbreaking 30 yards field goal. The Broncos finish the year at 5-11.
This was perhaps the worst season that I have witnessed in such a long time. It started with such promise. Going 3-1 to start the season was refreshing. But down the road, the Broncos lost themselves during the bye. Denver would lose 10 of their final 12 games.
There is no decision made yet on Vance Joseph’s future with the Denver Broncos. According to Mike Klis of 9 News, John Elway is going to sleep on the decision and meet with Joseph in the morning. A lot of speculation is split 50-50 on Vance’s future with the Broncos.
Earlier, it was reported that Vance Joseph would be relieved of his duties win or lose. But we won’t know for sure until Monday.
The Broncos had their backs against the wall in the second half, but woke up and had the chance. Zaire Anderson’s scoop and score gave Denver new life. A fourth down touchdown pass from Lynch to Demaryius Thomas tied the game up. Kansas City had the last laugh.
Thank You Broncos Country for coming to Predominantly Orange to read our takes every day. Hopefully 2018 will be a better year. Happy New Year!
