#Roommates, a California college student by the name of #MaleekEid had ALL the time to get his professor together after she used the #NWord numerous times during a lecture.
According to Maleek, his English professor was using Martin Luther King Jr.’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail” as an example for annotation, but things got real when his professor actually said the word to the entire class. According to @Buzzfeed, Maleek explained the situation, saying: “She said ‘they used to use words like…’ and she said the n-word,” Eid told BuzzFeed News. “I didn’t say anything, I was actually so shocked.”
He then said his professor said the word again a week later and that’s when he knew he had to do something. Maleek who is Palestinian said he felt the rest of his classmates (who are predominantly white) didn’t seem to be as offended as he was when their professor dropped the bomb.
So, he used that to be a teaching moment for not only the rest of his classmates, but for his professor as well!
THREAD: My professor used the N-word twice. So I called her out as my project. (Open thread for reaction) pic.twitter.com/gozbDx5tMq

Not all heroes wear capes #Roommates! In the presentation you can hear Malik highlight what his professor did wrong and even told his class to ask him questions so they can all get to the bottom of it!
