Idris Elba graces the cover of MAXIM magazine’s September 2015 issue, marking the first time a man has landed on the cover sans the presence of a woman. Yea, he has it like that. Check out his dapper spread inside…
He’s half man, half amazing. And uber sexy.
“Luther” star Idris Elba is serving some grown man sexiness for MAXIM magazine’s September 2015 issue. And to say it’s groundbreaking would be an understatement.
Outside of the fact that Idris is oozing suave sex appeal, his cover marks the first time a man has landed on the cover without the presence of a woman. Nice!
Shot by photographer Robbie Fimmano, the 42-year-old Britsh actor cleaned up quite nicely as he posed it up in an array of tailored suits that fit like a glove. For the cover story, the actor/DJ/race car driver (who recently broke the UK land speed record in a Bentley) chopped it up with the mag about auto racing, sex, music and more. He also addresses those rumors (again) that were circulating saying he would be cast as the first black 007 agent James Bond.
The official cover story has yet to be released, but we’re sure this drool-worthy editorial will hold you over once the issue hits newsstands August 5th:
You can thank us later ladies (and some gents).
So what’s next for the grown and sexy Idris? The Hollywood break dancing hunk is set to star as a villain in the Star Trak reboot, Star Trek Beyond. He’s also gearing up for his role as the frightening Commandant of an African child army in the Netflix original film Beast of No Nation.
Peep the new trailer below:
The film is expected to debut on Netflix October 16th. Will you be watching?
