Cissy Houston is planning a book about her late daughter, Whitney Houston, The New York Times reports.

According to the paper’s sources, the 78-year-old Grammy Award-winning gospel singer met with publishers in a suite at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City this week to discuss the project, referring to her daughter by her nickname, “Nippy.”

“It’s going to be the bad, it’s going to be the good,” Houston was quoted as saying. She characterized the book as the true story of the troubled and talented superstar, whose once-blazing career stumbled while she grappled with drug addiction and a tumultuous marriage to Bobby Brown.

I not sure how I feel about Cissy writing a tell all book, I mean will she speak truth and be honest about Whitney’s life, or will she sugarcoat it a little.
