Chicago Theatre Workshop announced the cast of the Chicago premiere of “Little Miss Sunshine” Thursday.
The production stars Sophie Kaegi as Olive Hoover with Greg Foster as Richard, Sharyon Culberson as Sheryl, Ken Rubenstein as Grandpa, Kyle Klein II as Dwane, George Keating as Uncle Frank, David Besky as Larry, Jennifer Ledesma as Linda, Connor Baty as Josh, Chayce Davis as Chelsea, Jersie Joniak as Tracee and Tatum Pearlman as Deborah. Maggie Portman will direct and choreograph the production with music direction by Nick Sula.
Based on the Oscar-winning film about an eccentric family’s journey to a children’s beauty pageant, “Little Miss Sunshine” features music and lyrics by James Lapine and a book by William Finn. The production runs May 11-June 4 at The Edge Theatre, 5451 N. Broadway.
