I guess when both your parents have been in politics for all your life you probably will have the zest for it. As I’m sure she knows more than enough to run for any seat she’d like.
Chelsea Clinton said in a recent interview that she would consider running for office in New York if she didn’t support her representatives.
“I live in a city and a state and a country where I support my elected representatives,” the 34-year-old told Fast Company.
She also bumped:
“If at some point that weren’t the case, and I didn’t support my mayor or my city councilwoman or my congresswoman or either of my senators — and I’m lucky to live in a state where I have lots of women representing me, you know — maybe then I’d have to ask and answer the question for myself, and come to a different answer.”
Clinton told Jimmy Fallon last month that she’s been getting questions about her presidential ambitions since she was a toddler.
“Very few days go by when I don’t get that question,” Clinton said.
Clinton’s most recent statements, however, mark the first time that she’s been specific about the offices that have peaked her interest.
