Christina Milian and Raven Symone were spied in the streets of California yesterday. Peep their west coast candids inside…
New reality chick Christina Milian seemed to be in good spirits as she was spotted making her way inside the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Hollywood last night. C-Milli kept it cute in comfortable in all black everything, rocking her very own “We Are Pop Culture” sweatshirt (fromt he clothing company of the same name that she partners with) as she smiled for the photogs.
The “Start A Fire” singer has been heavy on the promo circuit promoting her new E! docu-series “Christina Milian Turned Up”, which premiered a few weeks ago. She recently spoke with VH1 about her new reality show where she talked about her upcoming album, making music with Lil Wayne and getting back into acting. Below are the highlights:
What are you working on musically right now?
I’m wrapping up my album and doing some records with Wayne and working on my first mixtape. I have a new song called “Rebel” that will be coming out on my show.
What was it like performing “Start A Fire” with Lil Wayne at the 2014 AMAs? This wasn’t the first time you two have collaborated.
It was amazing. We had so much fun! I love being on the stage with Wayne as well as in the studio. I think that we make great music together and I can’t wait to see what we do next. I know we have a couple things up our sleeves.
Post docu-series, are you looking to get back into acting as well as singing?
Yes, in addition to music I can’t wait to do some films again. It’s been some time off so I want to take it to the next level and maybe even take some acting classes and try some new things. So who knows what I’ll do. I would love to do an indie film as I’ve grown to have a more serious side.
You can catch Christina getting “turned up” Sunday nights at 10pm ET on E!
Elsewhere in Cali….
Raven Symone, rocking a platinum blonde ‘do and kept it laid back and casual on a shopping trip with a friend yesterday. Taking a break from her studies at the Academy of Art University, Raven grabbed her Uggs, leggings and a sweatshirt and made her way to Westfield Fashion Square mall in Sherman Oaks for a little retail therapy.
And she even took a moment to snap it up with a fan. Ha!
Recently, the former child star appeared on OWN’s “Light Girls” documentary where she opened up about the insecurities she struggled with while taping her Disney show “That’s So Raven”.
She revealed she use to tan at least three times a week because she wanted to appear darker. Apparently, she took the artifical tanning a little too far. She said one day one of the production crew workers asked her to stop tanning because they having to relight the whole show. Her response? “I was just trying to be pretty!”
