“black•ish” paid homage to the “Cosby Show” on last night’s episode in a super cute and funny way. Meanwhile, actress Tracee Ellis Ross hit up “Hamilton” on Broadway last night and showed the cast so much love backstage. Pics and video inside…
Last night’s “black•ish” episode brought the laughs, per usual. But it also sprinkled in a bit of nostalgia.
For the opening credits, the Johnson Family honored the hit 80s sitcom by recreating the iconic dance-filled opening credits.

In the episode, cleverly titled “The Johnson Show,” Dre (played by Anthony Anderson) reflects on how he grew up loving everything about the Huxtables and how much of an inspiration the family was to him. Dre even touches on the Bill Cosby sex allegations.
The timing of it all coincidentally comes right after it was recently reported Bill Cosby will go before a judge next month on charges that he allegedly sexually assaulted former Temple University athletics employee Andrea Constand in 2004.

While “black•ish” was airing, Tracee Ellis Ross was busy checking out the hit Broadway show “Hamilton.” After the show, she headed back stage to congratulate the actors.
She snapped it up with the cast, including Okieriete Onaodowan, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Daveed Diggs, Leslie Odom Jr., and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
