There has been a lot of back and forth on whether there would be a third film to Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s “Bad Boys,” series.

However, the third film reportedly has a release date, and fans are excited.

According to Entertainment Weekly, on Wednesday Sony Pictures announced that “Bad Boys For Life,” the third installment starring Smith and Lawrence would release on January 17, 2020.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are on board to direct the film. Last year, Lawrence was unsure if the film would happen and said to Entertainment Weekly, “I don’t think we’re going to get one, not the way everything’s turning out.”

Nonetheless, this year when Will Smith wished Lawrence a Happy Birthday, he excited fans when he said, “Happy Birthday to the Best Damn partner EVER!!! What you think Marty-Mar? One more time?”
