Former Cash Money rapper B.G., real name Christopher Dorsey was sentenced to 14 years in prison for gun possession and witness tampering. B.G. was indicted on federal charges last May stemming from an arrest in November of 2009 when the vehicle the rapper was traveling in was pulled over and 3 handguns were discovered, 2 of those guns reportedly stolen. Prosecutors also claimed that B.G. forced one of the other passengers to sign an affidavit & claim ownership of the weapons discovered in the vehicle.
Making matters worse was the fact that prosecutors linked Dorsey in court filings to two of the city’s most high-profile alleged murderers, Telly Hankton and Walter Porter, who they say B.G. name-dropped in videos.
