What do the Chicago Bears do in this complete seven-round 2017 NFL Mock Draft complete with two massive trades?
The Chicago Bears are in a great position to add impact talent where they sit in the 2017 NFL Draft. Starting with the third overall selection, the Bears will be able to add players to the mix who can help their football team both in 2017 and the future.
That being said, do not fall in love with the Bears’ current draft positions. General manager Ryan Pace showed last year that he is not afraid to move up and down the board. He kicked in the necessary draft capital to move up two spots in the first round last year, to ensure he got Leonard Floyd.
In the second round, Pace went the other way, trading down twice, before finally taking offensive lineman Cody Whitehair. Floyd showed a ton of pass rush upside as a rookie and was clearly worth the short trade up. Whitehair was a consistent presence at center for the Chicago Bears last season, and trading down twice before taking him proved to be a brilliant move.
In this seven-round mock draft, we are going to look at some possible trade scenarios for the Chicago Bears. I would not be surprised to see them stay put with their early picks, but it also certainly makes sense for them to look to find the best value as they maneuver around the board.
