A Greensboro woman has been charged with using another person’s personal information for food stamps, according to the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.
Jo Ann Foster, 57 years old, has recently been arrested for identity theft. This is common crime, but Foster’s target victim and objective was anything but common. Most thieves prey upon adults and try to purchase big-buck items like cars, diamonds, and iPads. This woman, however, stole the identity of a little boy and was simply interested in his public assistance benefits — food stamps.
Foster was placed under a $2,000 secured bond pending her first appearance in Alamance County District Court.
That’s a damn shame!!
