“Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.” At least that is what Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights says. Even though I really didn’t need their permission to speak my mind, this is more so for legal issues and hurt feelings (SMH). Since the beginning of time “celebrities” have been put on pedestals and worshipped like they were Gods. Trust me, couldn’t nobody tell me nothing about Omarion (SHUT UP.!) . But then I grew up and got off crack. They are human beings with whom we are infatuated because of the image we are sold. Fortunately, I don’t kiss butt, my mama told me that was nasty. She really did, like two weeks ago. Anywho, everything I say in life (because I speak the same way everywhere about everything) is purely my humble opinion. With that being said, everything I say is not going to be nice. Oh well. When you become famous you open yourself up for public ridicule (and laughter) soo don’t get your panties in a bunch when somebody tells the truth says something negative about you. Get over it (&& yourself) and be happy that someone even said your name. All press is good press. Michael Jackson (God rest his beautiful soul) endured WAY more for WAY longer and I don’t recall him suing Martin Bashir anyone. People attack(ed) him daily, and all he ever talked about was how it hurt him. Ok, I have to stop because I’m getting teary eyed…seriously. But I don’t attack anyone. I’m saying my (&& a whole lot of other people’s) opinion about certain things in a comedic manner. Don’t get mad, get glad. I’m really not trying to be anyone’s BFF. This is for laughs. -Alyssa K.
